Parking types at Houston George Bush Airport (IAH)

Park and Ride Park and Ride You will drive your car directly to the reserved parking lot, usually located a few miles from the airport. A complimentary shuttle will drop-off and pick-up directly curbside at your terminal. Some parking operators will have an on-demand shuttle and others will have a shuttle that runs at regular intervals. The driver will be happy to help you with your luggage.
Park and Walk Park and Walk These parking garages or parking lots are located very close to the terminal so there is no shuttle needed. You simply park your car and walk to the terminal with your luggage.
Valet Parking Valet Parking Valet parking allows you to drop-off your car directly at the terminal. You do not have to wait for a shuttle, find a parking spot, or walk far with your luggage. Your car will be ready for you outside of baggage claim upon your return.

Types of Parking at IAH

Park and Ride

Park and Ride is the most popular option for IAH long term parking. There are several secure off-site parking operators around IAH that provide very economical parking. You will park at the off-site location, then a free shuttle will bring you to the airport within 30 minutes

  • EcoPark and EcoPark2 Economy Lots – official Houston Airport parking lots, one is located at the south end of the airport and the other is located on the west end, it is not listed how long the trip takes or how often the shuttle runs
  • Park N Fly IAH has covered and uncovered parking spaces available. A shuttle picks you up and drops you off directly at your car. A shuttle attendant will help you with your luggage within 5 minutes of your arrival. Allow 7 minutes to arrive at the terminal.

Valet Parking

Valet Parking is a great way to save time and hassle at the airport. You do have to wait for a shuttle, search for parking, or walk a long distance.

  • IAH Valet Parking is located in each Terminal Garage.  This is the most expensive IAH parking option.

Park and Walk

There are parking garages located within walking distance of all five terminals. Although it is convenient to not need to wait for a shuttle, this is traditionally the most expensive parking option.
