Parking types at Newark Airport (EWR)

Park and Ride Park and Ride You will drive your car directly to the reserved parking lot, usually located a few miles from the airport. A complimentary shuttle will drop-off and pick-up directly curbside at your terminal. Some parking operators will have an on-demand shuttle and others will have a shuttle that runs at regular intervals. The driver will be happy to help you with your luggage.
Park and Walk Park and Walk These parking garages or parking lots are located very close to the terminal so there is no shuttle needed. You simply park your car and walk to the terminal with your luggage.

Types of EWR Airport Parking

We know that selecting an option for EWR parking can be overwhelming, but we are here to help. ParkFellows has done the research and put together this simple guide to help you find a great parking option to fit your needs.

Park and Ride

Park and Ride is a great value for Newark Airport long term parking. The parking lots are located off-site, usually a couple of miles from the airport. Then, a free shuttle will bring you to your terminal.

EWR On-Airport Economy Lot is located three miles from the airport. The shuttle takes 20 minutes to arrive at the airport, but it is unclear how often the shuttle runs.

EWR On-Airport Daily Lots (Garage P4) is just a short AirTrain ride from each terminal. It is unclear how often the AirTrain arrives. This is very expensive for long term parking.

Newark Airport Long Term Parking, Inc. offers great deals on parking near the EWR Airport. It is an uncovered parking lot with self-park and valet parking. The shuttle runs every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day. It is a short 2-3 minute shuttle ride to the terminal.

Park2Go has self-park and valet services for both covered and uncovered parking. Shuttles run every 10 minutes and take 4 minutes to arrive at the airport. The shuttle will pick you up and drop you off directly at your parked car.

Park and Walk

Short term parking is available at the Terminal C Garage and parking lots directly across from Terminals A and B. They are located within walking distance of the terminals. Parking Lots A and B are uncovered parking lots, while Terminal C Garage has covered parking. Although this is a convenient parking option, Newark Airport parking rates are highest in these short term lots.
