- Take exit 1 for Interstate 278 W/Brooklyn Queens Expressway W toward Battery Tunnel.
- Merge onto NY-9A S/West St.
- Use the right 2 lanes to take the Interstate 78 W/U.S. 9 N/U.S. 1 N/NJ-139 W ramp to Holland Tunnel.
- Continue onto I-78 W., and then take exit 57 for I-78 toward the New Jersey Turnpike.
- Continue onto I-78 W., and take exit 58A toward Newark Liberty International Airport.
