SEATAC Airport Parking

The Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is located in the city of SeaTac, which is centered between downtown Seattle and Tacoma in Washington state. The airport has flights to North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. SEATAC is considered one of the fastest-growing airports in the United States. Among other airports with similar annual passenger traffic, Seattle Tacoma Airport has the smallest facility in terms of total area. The growth of the airport is due to the expansion of Alaska Airlines and Delta Airlines setting up a major hub. The growth has overcrowded the facilities at the airport, leading to a $2 billion investment into expansion and renovation projects.

The location of the Seattle Tacoma Airport was chosen mainly due to the location of the surrounding highways. You can reach the airport easily via State Route 99, State Route 509, State Route 518, or the Airport Expressway.  If you choose to drive, you will want to reserve your parking spot at the airport well in advance. With all of the recent growth in passenger traffic, SEATAC parking is limited and in high demand. This is where ParkFellows can help you. Since 2013, we have been assisting customers to compare and book the best parking options for the best value. You can easily book online in just five minutes, no need to make an account. The best part is there are zero reservation fees!  Use ParkFellows to compare SEATAC parking and start your vacation the right way.

Parking types at Seattle-Tacoma Airport (SEA)

Park and Ride Park and Ride You will drive your car directly to the reserved parking lot, usually located a few miles from the airport. A complimentary shuttle will drop-off and pick-up directly curbside at your terminal. Some parking operators will have an on-demand shuttle and others will have a shuttle that runs at regular intervals. The driver will be happy to help you with your luggage.
Park and Walk Park and Walk These parking garages or parking lots are located very close to the terminal so there is no shuttle needed. You simply park your car and walk to the terminal with your luggage.

Types of Seattle Airport Parking

This guide explains the various options for parking at SEATAC. Whether you are looking to save money or time, or a little of both, there is a perfect option for you.

Park and Ride

Park and Ride is the most cost-effective option for long term parking SEATAC. The parking lots are located off-site and a free Seattle airport shuttle (or SEATAC shuttle) will bring you to your terminal.

  • WallyPark SEATAC has outdoor self-parking and valet services as well as a premium parking garage. The shuttle departs every 5 minutes and the travel time to the airport is 5-7 minutes. Car wash services are available. This is the cheapest Seattle airport parking option.
  • SeaTac Park is an uncovered self-parking lot. Shuttles run continuously for 24 hours per day. From the time you arrive at the parking lot, it will take no more than 10 to 15 minutes to get to the airport.
  • MVP Park Seattle-Tacoma is an uncovered parking lot with valet service located less than one mile from the airport. An attendant will load your luggage onto a shuttle when you arrive. When you return, you can text ahead to get an on-demand pick-up from the airport.

Park and Walk

Park and Walk services make it easy to park the car yourself and then walk with your luggage into the airport. This option is best for SEATAC short term parking because the parking fees are very high.

  • SEATAC Parking Garage has eight levels within walking distance to the airport. The fourth floor is called “Terminal Direct” because it has the shortest walk into the terminal. This is the most expensive SEATAC parking option.
