O'Hare Parking

Chicago O’Hare Airport (ORD) is an international airport located in Northwest Chicago, Illinois. It is the largest of the two Chicago airports. O’Hare is one of the few airports that have non-stop flights to over 200 destinations. It is the sixth busiest airport in the world and served over 83 million passengers in 2018. The airport continues to grow and improve every year. There are four passenger terminals, nine concourses, and 191 gates. The airport was originally named Orchard Field airport, hence the airport code ORD. However, in 1949 the airport was renamed in honor of Edward “Butch” O’Hare. During World War II, he became the first member of the U.S. Navy to receive a Medal of Honor. You can find a replica of the Grumman F4F-3 aircraft flown by O’Hare displayed in the west end of Terminal 2.

The Chicago O’Hare International Airport has an increasing number of passengers every year. All of this growth makes O'Hare Airport parking very limited and in high demand. Types of Parking at O’Hare Airport

You can choose between three parking options at Chicago Airport. Each option is guaranteed to be reliable, safe, and convenient.

Park and Ride

Park and Ride services are very affordable for O’Hare long term parking. Shuttles run 24 hours a day and will drop you directly at the airport terminal so you never have to walk a long distance.

  • Economy Lots E, F, and G are official O’Hare parking lots. The popularity of these lots means they can close due to overcrowding. There is an ORD Airport shuttle that brings you to the terminal, but it is not listed how long the trip takes or how often the shuttle runs.
  • WallyPark is the cheapest parking option at ORD Airport. It is an uncovered valet parking lot located only 2 miles from the terminal. The shuttle is accessible 24/7 and departs every 5 minutes. It only takes 5 minutes for the shuttle to reach the airport.

Valet Parking

Valet services are offered by Chicago O’Hare airport at the ORD Garage Lot A. You simply pull up, drop-off, and take-off. Your car will be waiting for you when you return.  O’Hare Valet Parking is one of the most expensive ORD parking options. The only more expensive option is daily parking at the International Terminal Garage.

Park and Walk

If you want to walk to the terminal, then there is one parking garage and three uncovered parking lots. These are not recommended for long term parking as the rates are higher than the Economy Lots and other shuttle services.

  • Daily Lots B and C are uncovered parking lots adjacent to the Domestic Garage.
  • Domestic Terminal Garage – hourly parking is located on Level 1 and daily parking is located on Levels 2-6
  • International Terminal Parking (Lot D) is an uncovered outdoor lot. It is not intended for overnight parking. The daily parking rate makes this the most expensive ORD parking option.
