Chicago O’Hare Airport (ORD) is an international airport located in Northwest Chicago, Illinois. It is the largest of the two Chicago airports. O’Hare is one of the few airports that have non-stop flights to over 200 destinations. It is the sixth busiest airport in the world and served over 83 million passengers in 2018. The airport continues to grow and improve every year. There are four passenger terminals, nine concourses, and 191 gates. The airport was originally named Orchard Field airport, hence the airport code ORD. However, in 1949 the airport was renamed in honor of Edward “Butch” O’Hare. During World War II, he became the first member of the U.S. Navy to receive a Medal of Honor. You can find a replica of the Grumman F4F-3 aircraft flown by O’Hare displayed in the west end of Terminal 2.

Park and Ride services are very affordable for O’Hare long term parking. Shuttles run 24 hours a day and will drop you directly at the airport terminal so you never have to walk a long distance.
Valet services are offered by Chicago O’Hare airport at the ORD Garage Lot A. You simply pull up, drop-off, and take-off. Your car will be waiting for you when you return. O’Hare Valet Parking is one of the most expensive ORD parking options. The only more expensive option is daily parking at the International Terminal Garage.
If you want to walk to the terminal, then there is one parking garage and three uncovered parking lots. These are not recommended for long term parking as the rates are higher than the Economy Lots and other shuttle services.
