How Safeway Parking at Tampa Airport Works
To ensure a smooth parking experience at Safeway Airport Parking TPA, please follow the arrival and return procedures outlined below:
Upon Arrival
Upon arrival at Safeway Airport Parking TPA, proceed to the entrance of the parking lot. Check-in with the parking staff and present your printed booking confirmation. You can then park your vehicle in an available space, ensuring it is properly secured. From there, gather your belongings and make note of your parking space for reference. Then, proceed to the designated bus stop at the parking lot, where you will have to pay an addu$2.00 to take the bus to the airport. The bus runs every 30 minutes from 6:45am to 11:45pm daily.
Upon Return
After retrieving your luggage from Tampa Airport, proceed to the designated bus stop. Find the right bus that will take you back to Safeway Airport Parking TPA shuttle and board it for transportation back to the parking lot. Once you arrive at the parking lot, locate your vehicle and ensure that all your belongings are accounted for. You can then simply exit the parking lot and head home.

Safeway Airport Parking TPA is located at 6010 W. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida, US 33634. We have provided some quick directions to assist you in finding the car park:
From Downtown Tampa:
- Head west on W Kennedy Blvd toward N Tampa St.
- Continue onto FL-60 W/W Kennedy Blvd, then merge onto I-275 N via the ramp to I-4.
- Take exit 39 to merge onto FL-60 W toward Tampa Airport/Clearwater.
- Take the exit toward George J Bean Pkwy and merge onto George J Bean Outbound Pkwy.
- Safeway Airport Parking TPA will be on your right.
From St. Petersburg:
- Get on I-275 N from 5th Ave N.
- Follow I-275 N and FL-60 E to George J Bean Outbound Pkwy in Tampa.
- Take the George J Bean Pkwy exit from FL-60 E., and continue on George J Bean Outbound Pkwy.
- Safeway Airport Parking TPA will be on your right.
From Clearwater:
- Get on FL-60 E/Gulf to Bay Blvd.
- Continue on FL-60 E and take the ramp to Tampa International Airport.
- Merge onto George J Bean Outbound Pkwy.
- Safeway Airport Parking TPA will be on your right.
